As we reflect on our recent accomplishments, we are filled with immense gratitude for your support. Because of your generosity the Safari West Wildlife Foundation provided exciting wildlife conservation programming to youth throughout the north bay area region and across the country.
the Safari West LIVE program produced 109 live and interactive programs to children in hospitals across the US.
the Junior Keepers worked directly with the animals on zoo keeping skills and immersed themselves in projects such as a collaboration with Conservation Fusion in Madagascar, learning how to track animals with field amateur radio tracking, public speaking, and osteology. the Discover Africa program provided wildlife conservation learning at Safari West to over 1,000 title 1 students throughout the 2023-24 school year. Teachers followed-up Safari West onsite adventure visits with in-classroom learning with special projects aligned to wildlife conservation.
Provided an impactful Safari West LIVE summer camp program for Marin City youth.
