The power of community and wildlife conservation education!

Paula Johnson

On March 8, the North Bay Science Discovery Fair is back at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds, and we are thrilled to announce that Safari West Wildlife Foundation will be joining the fun! This free event is an incredible opportunity for curious minds of all ages to explore the wonders of science, nature, and conservation.

The Junior Keepers will be presenting "Horns and Antlers"! These dedicated young conservationists have been working hard to develop hands-on presentations explaining the fascinating differences between these natural structures. What’s the difference between a horn and an antler? Which animals have them, and why? Our Junior Keepers will answer these questions and more with specimens and interactive discussions.

At Safari West Wildlife Foundation, we believe that conservation starts with education. By empowering young learners to share their knowledge, we inspire the next generation of wildlife advocates. Whether you're a budding scientist, an animal lover, or just looking for an exciting and educational outing, this event is for you!

Rotary Santa Rosa East/West Annual Fundraiser – Supporting Safari West Wildlife Foundation!

We are honored to share that the Safari West Wildlife Foundation is a proud beneficiary of this year’s Annual Fundraiser, Saturday, March 22nd at the Friedman Center in Santa Rosa! This incredible event brings together the community in an evening of generosity, celebration, and meaningful impact.

Rotary International has long been a champion of positive change, and we are truly grateful for Rotary Santa Rosa East/West's support. Through this fundraiser, the Safari West Wildlife Foundation will receive essential funding to continue our mission of inspiring wildlife conservation through education and outreach programs, specifically Safari West LIVE, a national and interactive educational program for children in hospitals. With these contributions, we can provide more opportunities for young learners to connect with nature and discover the wonders of the animal kingdom.
